The “Cita con la Danza Fib” in the San Vincent Tower Beach of Benicasim come to this 18 edition with Castellón Provincial Council , CulturArts ,Benicasim Town Hall cultural department and International Festival of Benicasim support, with a strong aim to continue as a showcase where young dancers and choreographers, meet and bring the best of their productions so that Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Spanish Dance, Flamenco and Fusion can be shown to more numerous and enthusiastic audiences.

The 11 edition of “Fragments of 20th and 21th Century Masterpieces” workshop will be held in Benicasim from 29 of june to 13 of July ,thanks to the collaboration of TERPSICORE and Violant de Casalduch Institute.

Young dancers with a suitable technical level may approach the choreographic work of MARCO GOOCKE,
resident choreographer of the Stuttgart Ballet, Associate Choreographer with Nederland Dance Theater and internationally recognized. Awarded in 2003 with the 1st prize in the Hamburg choreographic competition and with the Nijinsky Award in 2006. His choreographies are in the repertoire of many prestigious companies such as Stuttgart Ballet, Hamburg Ballet, NDT 1 and 2, Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, Canadian National Ballet, Scapino Ballet, Leipzig Ballet, Ballet Theater München, Les Grand Ballets Canadiens, Croatian National Ballet, Sao Paulo Compania de Dança and many others.

FABIO PALOMBO, will be workshop director. Trained in the John-Cranko School, he started his professional career at the Deutsche Opera Berlin under the direction of Sylviane Bayard. Soloist dancer of Leipzig Ballet from 2004 to 2012, interpreting choreographies of Uwe Scholz, Balanchine, John Cranko, MacMillan, Glenn Tetley, Marco Goecke, Peter Schaufuss und Youri Vamos. Since 2012 Fabio is freelance in Berlin and works as a ballet master with Marco Goecke and Xenia Wiest. Repertory workshop joins the 4º workshop of "New Creation” in collaboration with the Superior Conservatory of dance Mary Avila (CSDMA). ANTONIO AYESTA , originally from Peru, dancer in Trujillo City Ballet and Principal in Vanemuine Ballet and the Ballet of Lima. Soloist in the Ballet of Magdeburg and Lamov, participating in Ai Do Project with Iker Arrue and currently Ballet Master and Lamov Repeater and working as a teacher and choreographer in different projects, will create an original choreography which Premiere will take place at the 18 Cita con la Danza Fib.

Repertory workshop together with the New Creation one has a symbolic cost of 100e and the young dancers who have a suitable technical level and wish to participate should send their personal data

In Barcelona, in collaboration with ‘La Companyia’ and the Barcelona Summer Dance, directed by Ingve Groven, a workshop, aimed at young dancers will be held. Created by JEAN EMILE, dancer in NDT1, CND, teacher and choreographer at The Alvin Ailey Dance Centre and ‘La Companyia’ this will will also be performed at the 18th Cita con la Danza Fib. http://english.barcelonasummerdance.org/
